Clarion seeks a safer gambling partner

Clarion Gaming has invited safer gambling organisations from throughout the world to apply to become official charity partner for 2024/25.

The successful charity will benefit from unprecedented levels of interest in the Clarion Gaming brands with the 2025 editions of ICE (20th – 22nd January) and iGB Affiliate (20th – 23rd) making the historic move to the Fira Gran Via Barcelona and iGB LIVE now taking place at ExCeL London.

The interested organisations will benefit from branding and networking opportunities at three of gambling’s most dynamic live events, they are being asked to provide an overview of how they would deploy the partnership to help address specific challenges together with their mission and vision for the future with the deadline being the 30th September.

Stuart Hunter, managing director, Clarion Gaming said: “I’m extremely proud of the fact that Clarion Gaming was the first expo organiser to introduce an annual charity partner program, an initiative which followed our ground-breaking incorporation of a show floor feature exclusively for safer gambling.

“In keeping with the very latest thinking on safer gambling the concept has been rebranded as the Sustainable Gambling Zone and will have a high-profile presence at both ICE Barcelona and iGB LIVE London.”

In recent years, the issue of responsible gambling has become increasingly important in the gaming industry. With the rise of online gambling and the ease of access to betting sites, it is more crucial than ever for operators to ensure that their customers are gambling in a safe and responsible manner. This is why Clarion, a leading provider of gaming events and conferences, is actively seeking a safer gambling partner to work with.

Clarion has long been committed to promoting responsible gambling practices within the industry. They have hosted numerous events and seminars focused on educating operators on how to identify and help problem gamblers, as well as how to implement measures to prevent gambling addiction. However, they recognize that they cannot do it alone and are now looking for a partner who shares their dedication to creating a safer gambling environment.

The ideal safer gambling partner for Clarion would be a company or organization that specializes in developing tools and resources to promote responsible gambling. This could include software providers that offer self-exclusion options, organizations that provide support for problem gamblers, or companies that conduct research on gambling behavior and addiction. By partnering with such a company, Clarion hopes to further enhance their efforts in promoting responsible gambling practices within the industry.

In addition to seeking a safer gambling partner, Clarion is also exploring ways to incorporate safer gambling initiatives into their upcoming events and conferences. This could include hosting panel discussions on responsible gambling, offering training sessions for operators on how to identify and assist problem gamblers, or providing resources for attendees to learn more about responsible gambling practices.

Overall, Clarion’s decision to seek a safer gambling partner reflects their commitment to promoting responsible gambling within the gaming industry. By working together with a like-minded organization, they hope to create a safer and more enjoyable gambling experience for all players.
